|
In March 2003 Department of State Public Affairs of United States of America made an award to Foundation for Small and Medium Businesses to assist refugee women towards professional employment and financial independence through three stage four months training course consisting of Entrepreneurship, Internet resources and Community Development training sessions. The grant has enhanced FSMB’s role in formation of
favorable and civilized business environment, making community more
business-friendly, reducing public-private conflicts by way of involving
refugee women, one of the most vulnerable population group of Armenia,
in entrepreneurial activity for their integration and naturalization,
and preparing them to be self-employed and to start own business. FSMB has significantly enriched its experience in
training and consulting for those wishing to start and expand business.
